The Omega ORU50XL is a 52cm undermount rangehood in Stainless Steel — the entry-level, universally compatible alternative to the matte black ORU52MB, prioritising quiet operation, everyday extraction capability, and the timeless stainless steel finish that integrates with any kitchen aesthetic at a more accessible price point of $399. At 51–58 dBa across three fan speeds, the ORU50XL is meaningfully quieter than the ORU52MB (54–68 dBa), powered by a 190W motor delivering 612 m³/hr of net airflow for everyday cooking ventilation across a 52cm cooktop. Two 1.5W LED lights illuminate the cooktop surface; a five-layer aluminium mesh grease filter is removable and washable; push button controls on the front face operate the three fan speeds and lighting; and both ducted and recirculating installation options are supported — with an optional charcoal filter (ORCF110, sold separately) enabling recirculating use for kitchens without external ducting access.
