The Omega ORU70XL is a 70cm undermount rangehood in Stainless Steel — the mid-point in the Omega undermount stainless steel range, delivering 820 m³/hr of net airflow from a 265W motor across a 70cm extraction width with two five-layer aluminium mesh filters, a charcoal filter included as standard for recirculating use, backlit push button controls, and 2×3W LED cooktop lighting. The step from the 52cm ORU50XL is substantial: 208 m³/hr more extraction, a 75W more powerful motor, a second filter, a wider 70cm coverage footprint, brighter LEDs, and the charcoal filter at no extra cost rather than as an optional purchase. At 51–66 dBa across three fan speeds, the ORU70XL starts at the same quiet low-speed noise as the ORU50XL (51 dBa) but reaches 66 dBa at maximum rather than the ORU50XL's 58 dBa — the trade-off for its significantly greater extraction capacity. The same 254mm body height and 296mm depth install in the same way under standard overhead cabinetry, with a 10 amp 3-pin plug connection and a 150mm duct diameter for ducted connection.
